FACE THE PAIN OR RUN

For thou art my hope, o Lord thou art my trust from my youth Psalms 71:5

Life leaves us with many tracks and trials whereby we leave remnants of ourselves.  As our minds wonder backwards upon the episodes of ones life many of us will attempt to retrace those steps.  Pondering a method to reconstruct a process that removes our destructive remnants, we feel a pain that causes one to become embarrassed of the thoughts of the past.  Sinking into a place where happiness does not seem to exist because of the tracks and trails.  The anguish that associates with our reversing thoughts, there is suffering with our locked in thoughts of ones destruction.

As the confronting continues we find negative emotional deliberation upon tracks and trails which seems to keep in focus as well as in places where we do not want to remain.  The mental strength we confess to contain makes one believe that what we have deposited in our past we can compartmentalize and we will over come.  Our physical strength we possess, of hearing the burdens of ones past drives us toward powerful muscular strength that speaks of power and endurances that we can withstand most anything that crosses our path. The ability to run at quick speeds as well as slower steady pace is a unique combination that makes one believe they are in top shape to face anything.

The truth must be revealed we can attempt  to track back to correct the past or develop exceptional physical and mental abilities through rigorous training daily, but in the end of all this training we created deception of ones own abilities will be able to sustain ourselves.  In reality we are simply preparing ourselves for a repeat of the destructive track we have attempted to leave.

We must come to understand we can’t do this life alone. There has to be the realization that the only way we can live this life as it is intended to live is by putting our trust in Jesus Christ. Once recognition is given to our Lord and he becomes our savior we will know that our own strength is never enough to live this life to the fullest. So today stop, think, turn your eyes unto the Lord and he will give you rest as well as strength to live this life to the fullest.

Grace and Peace
