AFRAID OF THE TRUTH BUT HATE LIES

Who has saved us, with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began 2 Timothy 1:9

The attempt to work our way into favor causes us to live a life of conflict. So many times our thoughts lead us to places where we think if we can do a little bit more or if we just stop now we will be in the perfect place. We continually find ourselves working harder and coming to decision whereby the answer we provide is not really the one we hoped to utter. The reality is at one point or another in life we live in shades of truth

Within in these shades we formulate thoughts and ideas that seem to move us closer to our goals.  We begin to develop complete environments which only give others bits of our person.  The struggle becomes greater to allow more bits, but the reality now is we may have lost connection with the entire truth. Our shades become larger and the darkness seems to be the norm in which our comfort level rises in the environment. As we become embedded in these shades and the comfort level grows something begins to happen.  We become fearful of the truth and we hate lies, but continue to share.  This is rollercoaster that seemed safe through the first few time, but over time you begin to see the shakiness, yet there is a perceived no way off.

Today I tell you that we no longer need to be afraid of truth and hate lies because there is a way in which we can let the light take the shade away.  There is true standard set by our Lord Jesus Christ that will allow us to function where lies do not have to be the norm.  We must understand that God does not like lies of any sort nor does he give us fear so we can be afraid of truth.  We must rely on and understand that our Father provides us the power to live in the light, he loves us in order that we may see love and share love with others, and he shows up the path to true self-discipline. If we are able to embrace life in these areas we will find the shades will be gone and we will love truth and hate lies. So to all go and enjoy the opportunities that will be before you in truth.

Grace and Peace,

Rod
