WARRIORS OF LOVE

For God is not unrighteous to forget or overlook your labor and the love which you have shown for His name’s sake in ministering to the needs of the saints (His own consecrated people), as you still do. Hebrews 6:10

 

 

 

 

A warrior is a person engaged or experienced in warfare; soldier so as a Christian we must use our weapon of love to fight for Jesus.  Are you willing to love the person in chains? Are you willing love the person who has made bad decisions and now they are embarrassed in public?  Are you willing to love the person who does not look like you?

 

We must use love to heal and restore all who we come in contact with.  As warriors of love it is not a bad thing to use tough love to help people grow.  I like to live by the idea that people will respond better to an act of love and kindness than a slap in the face.  If we begin to use love to include instead of excluding people with anger we have a greater chance of having people see the lord clearer.

 

Think of Daniel and what he must have felt as he did all the right things with his life, regardless of his actions he was confined with lions. He continued to love as well as did not sacrifice his love for people and his desire to remain faithful to God.  Are we willing to love the person who wronged us and caused us to feel mistreated? Think of the love Jesus showed us by being nailed to the cross for our sins. Do you see it? Love is power! Love is truth! Love is saving! Love is Jesus!!!

 

So to all, evaluate your relationships in order to integrate love in all your actions. See where love takes you in life; let love be your guide in life.  I challenge all of you to become a warrior of love.
